Becoming an ALEP member

Member communication & services:

ALEP aims to communicate information to its members that is relevant to the industry with a view to promoting knowledge, best practice and communication.

Two levels of membership are available: Associate or Full

To become a Full Member and take advantage of all the benefits outlined below, your organisation will have been involved in leasehold enfranchisement for at least two years, initiate two or more projects per year every year and have two satisfactory references from clients relating to significant completed projects (freehold acquisitions involving at least ten participants each or from a total of 20 or more separate lease extensions).

Associate Members need not be trading for more than two years and references need not be from completed projects. Associate Members may apply to become Full Members when they attain the required criteria. Associate Members are still bound by the constitution in the same way as Full Members.

All members are able to attend the ALEP conferences held bi-annually, though only Full Members may attend the AGM and associated events on the day. Full Members also receive a major discount on attending the conferences.
