You may use this page to search for an ALEP member for advice, guidance or to contact them to help with your project. Search for solicitors specialist in lease extensions, solicitors specialising in helping you buy your freehold, valuers focussing on extending the leases of flats or helping you price the cost of buying your share of freehold.

Our members include solicitors and surveyors who help with Right to Manage (RTM). Alternatively you may need to respond to a Section 5 "right of first refusal" notice from a landlord that wants to sell the freehold of a block of flats. Our members also deal with leasehold houses.

Our members don't just act for leaseholders, they also represent freeholders across the UK. Possibly you are a residential freeholder who wants to sell the freehold or you need to respond to a request from owners of flats to buy the freehold. Use these pages to find a local solicitor or surveyor who specialises in leasehold enfranchisement.

You can use this search page to post up to five online enquiries in a seven-day period. You can of course telephone the member or email them directly through the web site.

HOW TO USE THE SEARCH SYSTEM

COMPANY NAME

If you seek a specific company, click on the corresponding initial letter above to see companies beginning with that letter. For example, click the box with 'S' for Smith and Co. Alternatively you may enter the name or part of the name in the 'Full/Partial Organisation Name' box. Otherwise leave this blank.

MEMBER TYPE

In order to make a search you will need to select one option from this drop-down box: if you leave it reading 'Select a category' then an error page will be shown.

• Select in the 'Member Type' drop down box 'Surveyor/valuer' if you principally require a valuation of your property.
• Select 'Solicitor/legal' if you need legal advice or support.
• Select 'Intermediary' if you would rather have someone manage the project rather than deal directly with solicitors and surveyors.
• Select 'Property Management' if you need the help of a managing agent or similar property management company.
• Select other if you are sure that none of the above are relevant, but be advised that we have very few, if any, members that fall under this category.

POSTCODE

If you leave the 'Postcode' box blank, you will get a list of all the relevant members according to the other search criteria. If you seek a local company then enter a postcode and the five members with offices closest to that location will be listed. You can use any combination of entries in the three boxes to narrow down your search.

CLEAR
