ALEP 2011 Golf Day

Another great day was had by all at the 3^rd ALEP Golf Day held on Tuesday 20 September at Bushey Hall Golf Club near Watford. The golfers battled strong winds and a tough, hilly course in rounds that took nearly six hours! Defending champion Andrew Raby of Thackray Williams held his nerve to win the competition for the second year running, with David Sweeting of Sweeting Associates Ltd, Neil Cole of Hooper Naylor Friend and Gabriel Alterman of Altermans tailing close on his heels as joint runners-up.

A group of novices also took part in the day and thoroughly enjoyed their introduction to golf. We are also delighted that three members joined us for dinner.

The day was rounded off by drinks in the bar and a delicious three-course meal, plenty of laughter and prize-giving for the weary golfers. Roll on next year!
