ALEP Honorary Secretary Alex Greenslade said “it makes all those involved with ALEP incredibly proud that after only 3 years of existence our association accounts for over half of the possible winners at the second annual ERMAs. A pillar of ALEP membership is the need for members to prove that they are ethical, professional and experienced. This result at the awards shows that a panel of their peers agrees that they do indeed represent the cream of enfranchisement professionals”.

Category: Young Professional of the Year

Highly Commended: Marie Joyce – Marr Johnson & Stevens

Winner: Griffith Smith Farrington Webb

Category: Best Managing Agent of an Enfranchised or Right to Manage Building

Highly Commended: Colin Cohen Property Management.

 

Category: Individual Solicitor of the Year

ALEP Finalists : Graham Jaffe from Jaffe Porter Crossick

 

Category: Surveyor of the Year

Winner: Marr Johnson & Stevens

ALEP Finalists: Savills and Marr Johnson & Stevens.

 

Category: Newcomer of the Year

Winner: TJM Law

Finalists: TJM Law and Haynes Orme. 

 

Category: London Solicitor of the Year

Winner: Pemberton Greenish LLP

Highly commended: Forsters LLP

ALEP Finalists: Bircham Dyson Bell, Forsters LLP and Pemberton Greenish.

 

 

The Awards were sponsored by Tanfield Chambers, Pemberton Greenish and Wallace LLP and supported by CARLEX and the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners.

 

The black-tie awards dinner was held at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on 12th May 2010.  The awards were organised by News on the Block and hosted by comedian Dominic Holland.

 

The Awards were judged by an independent panel comprising Georgiana Hibberd of RICS Professional Group, Bob Smytherman of the Federation of Private Residents’ Associations and Peter Rodd of the Law Society Property Section.
