Election Information

The Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners' Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Tuesday 7 December 2021 at 5pm at the Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane. 

The Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP) is run by its Directors, an Advisory Committee (AC) and an Executive Committee (EC). Further information about the management of ALEP can be found here.

The members of the AC are elected at the AGM and generally serve in office for a term of two years from the date of their election, after which time they must resign and seek re-election. 

At the AGM on 7 December 2021, four members of the AC will stand down (although they are invited to nominate themselves for re-election): Eleanor Murray (solicitor committee member); Anna Favre (solicitor committee member); David Robson (valuer committee member) and Henrietta Hammonds (valuer committee member).

We therefore invite nominations for candidates for election to fill the AC vacancies of:

  • Two Solicitor Committee Members;
  • Two Valuers Committee Members.

Nominations can be submitted by email to elections@alep.org.uk or by letter using the form attached here

The name of the nominee and position should be stated along with the name and membership organisation of the supporter.  The attached form can be duplicated to propose candidates for more than one vacancy.

The deadline for nominations is Friday 19 November 2021.

 A full list of candidates for election, with details and ballot papers, will be sent to nominated lead contacts entitled to vote on or before Friday 26 November 2021. 

The results of the ballot will be published on the ALEP website.
