ALEP Protocol for Service of Initial Notices and Counter-Notices During COVID-19 Pandemic

During this difficult period, it’s important for ALEP to take the lead with practical steps to keep the leasehold enfranchisement sector operating as smoothly as possible. 

The ALEP protocol is a solution to some of the difficulties currently being faced by our members and other practitioners. This protocol is entirely voluntary and can only be adopted if both parties agree in writing. However, we would encourage all ALEP members to subscribe to this protocol where possible to ease the process during the current pandemic and enable our members to continue delivering for their clients.
